Cartier Hot Chocolate
A cold weather necessity: Hot chocolate! For a twist on traditional decadence, this wholesome recipe still satisfies and takes only 5 minutes to make! You can opt to use 2% milk instead of almond milk. Pro tip: Taste first then adjust slightly if needed. Perhaps a pinch more salt or syrup to balance out the bitterness of the chocolate and cocoa.
Ingredients (Serves 1)
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2.5 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ tbsp Canadian maple syrup
- 1 tbsp dark chocolate chips
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- Splash of Cartier Irish Cream
- Pinch of salt
Directions
- Heat the milk in a saucepan until simmering.
- Add cocoa powder, syrup, and salt, then whisk together.
- Add vanilla and chocolate whisking until melted in.
- Pour into a mug with a splash of Cartier Irish Cream and enjoy!
